Founded in 1983 by Lawrence Laddaga, Esq. (admitted to practice in 1981) the firm has been in continuing service since that date, serving clients all over South Carolina. Linda Garrett, Esq. LAWRENCE A. LADDAGA, ESQUIRE, FHFMA, received his B.A. degree, cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa from the University of South Carolina in 1978 and his J.D. degree in 1981.

Mr. Laddaga is the founder of Laddaga- Garrett, P.A., Attorneys and Counselors at Law in Charleston, South Carolina, in 1983. The firm limits its practice to Health Law and ERISA litigation. In Health Law, the firm represents a variety of health care providers in Compliance matters, Fraud and Abuse issues, reimbursement-revenue cycle litigation and consultation; ERISA appeals and suits against insurance and health plans; PPO’s and HMO’s; managed care contracting; arbitration and litigation; HIPAA privacy and medical record issues, discharge planning issues, Medicare/Medicaid reimbursements, antitrust, risk management, licensing and regulatory issues, appeals, consulting and general Health Law issues

Mr. Laddaga is an advanced member of the Healthcare Financial Managers Association (HFMA) and holds their Fellow Designation with Certifications in Patient Accounts and Managed Care. Mr. Laddaga is a past President of the South Carolina Chapter, a past Regional Executive and served two terms on the HFMA National Principles and Practices Board, and on the Chapter Advancement Team through 2008.

LINDA C. GARRETT, ESQUIRE,
is a shareholder in the Charleston-based firm of Laddaga - Garrett, P.A.

A native of Charleston, Ms. Garrett received her B.A. degree, summa cum laude, Phi Kappa Phi, from the College of Charleston in 1991, majoring in U.S. History, and her J.D. degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1995.

Ms. Garrett concentrates her practice in the areas of general health law and Employee Retirement Income Security Act ("ERISA") litigation.
